My name is Cindy, I have two sons that are now 16 and 11, but they were 7 and 2 when we began as a family of 3, rather than a family of 4. We have a great life filled with fun (mostly the free and simple types), love and humor. Having a sense of humor is the most important thing I can think of to get thru the rough times of being a single parent. The first year or two were tough, really tough, but now that we are here and enjoying ourselves, and I get to see my two sons turn into honorable, intelligent young men, it's worth it.
